The Headhunter PiratePro is a water machine from a company better known for headphones, and it shows in the design: the electronics sit in the headphones themselves, so there is no control box to flood and nothing on the shaft but the coil and the rod. That makes it one of the simplest genuinely submersible detectors ever built, and simple is what survives salt water.
