Nokta MIDI Hoard

The MIDI Hoard is a real detector scaled down for a child rather than a toy that beeps at everything. The shaft adjusts short enough for a small frame, the weight is low enough to carry for an hour without complaint, and there is enough discrimination that the digging stays interesting instead of turning up nails. It is the middle size in Nokta's children's range, which makes it the sensible pick for roughly eight years old and up.
