The GPX 4500 is still the machine a lot of working prospectors name when asked what they would take to an unknown patch. Minelab's Multi Period Sensing pulse technology handles the worst mineralized ground in the world without complaint, the timings let you tune for small gold or for deep nuggets, and the depth on larger pieces is what built the reputation. It is heavy, it needs a harness, and it finds gold that other machines walk over. The current flagship is the GPX 6000.
