Tesoro Mojave

The Mojave was one of the last machines Tesoro released, and it distilled the brand down to essentials: a 17 kHz signal, two knobs, a precision 7 inch concentric coil and a weight of just over two pounds. The higher frequency made it sharper on small gold jewelry and thin targets than the 14 kHz machines, and the small coil kept it usable in trashy ground. A simple detector done properly, which was always the Tesoro argument.
