Quest X5 IDMAXX Metal Detector

The Quest X5 IDMAXX Metal Detector packs fast, readable target identification into a 2.4 lb machine that folds down small enough for a daypack. Built on Quest's CVX Compact VLF platform, the X5 runs a single 12 kHz frequency, reports every target on a clear 1 to 99 ID scale, and swings the waterproof Blade9 Turbo D search coil. The whole detector is waterproof to 10 ft (3 m), the internal battery runs up to 30 hours per charge, and a built-in backlight, flashlight, and handle vibration keep it hunting after the sun goes down.
