White's BeachHunter 300

The BeachHunter 300 was White's fully submersible VLF, rated to 25 feet and built for people who hunt in the water rather than beside it. Unlike the pulse machines it gave you real discrimination, which on a beach littered with bottle caps and fishing weights is worth a great deal. Salt setting, waterproof headphones and a sealed housing meant it could be taken under and used properly rather than merely splashed. A specialist machine, and a good one for its purpose.
