Shipping information

Free shipping on all orders within the continental USA. Prospectors Dream items are the one exception — shipping on those is calculated at checkout.

In-stock orders placed before 3:00 PM ET on a business day usually ship the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET on a Friday are processed the following Monday.

Some shipments require a signature on delivery. Oversize items ship by freight, average 7–10 business days, and are delivered by appointment.

We also ship to Canada and 200+ countries where the manufacturer permits it. Import duties, taxes and brokerage fees are the recipient's responsibility.

Returns & warranty

30-day returns. If something isn't right, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll sort it out.

Items should come back unused, in their original packaging, with the manual and warranty card. Faulty out of the box or our mistake, and we cover shipping both ways.

The Quest XPointer Max provides a definitive answer to the question every treasure hunter faces: is the target worth digging out? Designed as a flagship probe, it combines VLF and balanced induction technology to identify ferrous versus non-ferrous targets before you disturb the soil. Target types are communicated through a dual-color LED light, distinct audio signals, and vibration feedback. Outfitted with an OLED status screen, four adjustable sensitivity levels, a 16 ft (5 m) waterproof rating for fresh and saltwater, and an intelligent Magic Holster, the XPointer Max is an essential addition to any detectorist's gear setup.

Know Before You Dig

Every detectorist knows the scenario: your primary detector signals a find, you dig the hole, and your pinpointer sounds off on what turns out to be a rusty nail hidden in the side wall. The XPointer Max eliminates that wasted effort. Its advanced discrimination circuit distinguishes iron from non-ferrous targets directly inside the hole, allowing you to focus your energy on signals that could be silver, copper, or gold.

The RAIT audio and vibration alerts intensify as the probe tip nears the target, while concentrated tip sensitivity ensures precise target localization. A target intensity meter on the OLED display offers visual confirmation alongside audio cues. Four sensitivity settings allow you to adapt the probe to mineralized soil, clean sand, or tight dig holes, and the boosted speaker output cuts through wind and surf noise.

Once your target is recovered, placing the Max into its included Magic Holster automatically puts the unit into standby mode. Drawing the pinpointer reactivates it instantly, extending battery operation up to 14 hours on a single charge. An integrated lost alarm ensures your pinpointer stays safely in your possession throughout your hunts.
